Free Drum Machine Samples by Creature
As a Free gift, I have made available 3 sample sets of some of my favourite drums machines used in the creation of my last album, Distant Horizon.
First up is the remarkable Korg Electribe ER-1. I have always loved the sound of this drum machine. It has a really good lo-fi and unique sound. Most of the track, Flutter, from Distant Horizon was created using this machine. I have included 22 kits from this great drum device. The download size of these kits is 22meg.
Next we have the Yamaha DD-10 drum machine. I originally had one of these toy drum machines as a kid. The DD-10 has a great lo-fi drum sound. I havn't got around to circuit bending this machine yet, but it has a wicked sound on its own. The download size is 1meg.
Finally we have some drums from the toy Yamaha PSS-80 keyboard. Again very lo-fi sounding. Run this through some effects and you will get a truly bizare sound. The download size is 500k.
To download the drum sample packs, click on the links below. The samples are provided in 16bit format for maximum compatability with different software packages and samplers. You will need WinZip to unpack the files.
